Qatari Citizens wishing to travel to Germany

Holders of diplomatic or special passports are not required to apply for visa to visit Germany.
Holders of regular passports are required to apply for a visit visa, which must be issued from the nearest embassy of Germany (before departure).

Important Note:

The diplomatic and special passports which are exempt from the visa are the passports having electronic (bio-metric) chip. Holders of (Schengen visa) will be able – if the visa is used for the first time and is issued by the German embassy - to enter the Federal Republic of Germany.

Citizens of Germany wishing to travel to Qatar

Holders of diplomatic passports are not required to apply for visa to visit Qatar
Holders of regular passports are required to apply for a visit visa, which can be issued from airport/borders of Qatar or from the nearest embassy of Qatar.
