I would like to welcome you to the website of the Consulate General of the State of Qatar in Munich, where we aim to provide the most relevant information for you about the activities of the Consulate General and our consular services in the best possible way.

The Consulate General stands for an official Qatari presence in the Federal states of Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland. Its mission is to ensure the safeguarding of the interests and visibility of the State of Qatar in its consular district.

Among the consular services, the protection of legitimate interests of Qatari citizens living in the above-mentioned federal states, traveling or passing through them enjoys a high priority. They are provided with consular services, advice and assistance in emergency situations, as well as the most important information in various subject areas. In addition, the Consulate General issues entry visas for foreign citizens wishing to travel to the State of Qatar.

The Consulate General promotes economic cooperation and the establishment, development and maintenance of trade relations between the State of Qatar and the federal states in its consular district. Furthermore, the Consulate General strives to support cultural events related to the State of Qatar, as well as strong partnerships and bilateral relations.

In order to build up and to maintain its large network, the Consulate General mainly focuses on maintaining and deepening contacts with state governments, with authorities and public institutions, with local companies and businesspeople, as well as with economic, academic, social and cultural institutions in its consular district through its presence at various events.

  • Diploma in Diplomatic Studies, Institute of Diplomacy and Foreign Relations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Malaysia.
  • Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Qatar University.
